Well it has certainly been an interesting couple of weeks.  I turned 50 on March 5th and I had the best time here at Gaia enjoying my birthday party and I thought the day would be a bust because Greg was out of town for a few days that week, but thanks to a couple of good friends, they took me out to dinner to celebrate and I had the best time.
This past Thursday, I finally took the manager's test and now all I can do is wait.  I look at it this way, if it is meant to be, then it will be.  If not, well, I will just take it again when the testing begins again.
My girls are flourishing and I could not be more proud of them.  Counting down the days until they can come down and visit for a spell.  Mom's carotid surgery went well and now we are just waiting for the triple bypass to get done.  Hopefully soon.  She is getting impatient.
I am looking forward to catching up with Gaia.  It has been a whole week since I have been here and I am so ready to get back in the groove.  I have made so many wonderful friends here and believe me, I did not desert you folks, just the timing was not there.
I am now into the next chapter of my life and from all points, looks to be promising.  Oh, I am sure there will be some bumps and grinds, but, you know what, I am just going to take each day as it comes.  Why worry about what has not happened?
So here is to you, my dear friends., I love you all and I am so glad to be back.
